Meet Derryck
Who I Am:
I’m a spiritual companion, life mentor, and elder for the journey. My life has been shaped by decades of learning, unlearning, and leadership. I don’t offer quick fixes or formulas. Instead, I bring presence, listening, and seasoned insight from a life lived deeply and honestly. Along the way, I've served as a Biblical Counselor, Missionary, Bible Teacher, Pastoral Mentor, and Leadership Developer.
What I’ve Done:
I’ve had the privilege of walking alongside people in many different ways over the years. As a certified coach and professional counselor, I’ve logged thousands of hours with individuals and families, and later directed a Christian Counseling Center that launched satellite centers in six other countries. Along the way, I’ve coached more than 300 pastors and trained over 2,000 short-term missionaries for service across the globe. I’ve established and directed organizations, planted churches, spoken at conferences, and posted extensively on the intersections of faith and life.
What I Believe:
I believe we are already included in the Divine embrace. Our journey isn’t about earning love or achieving perfection, but about waking up to who we've always been in Christ. My Christian faith is rooted in the mystery and beauty of the Trinity—Father, Son, and Spirit. I honor the sacred in all people, and I believe God is far better and more loving than we believe.
What I Offer:
My role isn’t to lead from the front but to walk alongside. Whether you’re rethinking your faith, wrestling with your identity, or seeking soul-level clarity, I offer space for reflection, conversation, and spiritual presence. While anyone is welcome, I most often walk with believers—especially those who are hungry for more, who sense something deeper is calling them forward.
